Wimbledon High School
Origin have supplied over 600 Flux Sled Chairs through Portsdown to Wimbledon High School. The chairs are used throughout the school for various purposes, photographed here in the newly design auditorium just after the pupils had finished practicing their musical ensemble.
UCS Sixth Form Hampstead
UCS Hampstead collaborated with Lewandowski Architects on the design and build of their ambitious new sixth form social hub aimed at inspiring pupils to explore the excitement of learning. Mojo Standard and Ply chairs were specified through Spaceoasis for the project, chosen for their functional role as stackable breakout chairs with a contemporary design. The chairs were customised by Lewandowski Architects for suitability to the different zones. Origin’s Polly chairs are now made from recycled polypropylene in a more sustainable approach.
RHS Wisley
RHS Hilltop aptly named ‘The Home of Gardening Science’, is the UK’s first dedicated horticultural scientific centre of excellence and has opened to the public – protecting the future of plants, people and the planet at the iconic RHS Garden Wisley. White Pop Chairs were specified through Furniture for Schools for the project. The two learning studios required lightweight, stackable chairs for flexibility, so the space could easily be moved around and reconfigured for different uses throughout the day.
ESLA Liverpool
Origin has supplied over 500 Lotus chairs to the Enterprise South Liverpool Academy for use throughout their education block. The state of the art education centre caters for year 7 all the way through to sixth formers providing them with a contemporary study and educational space. Lotus is a great fit for schools, colleges and universities looking for a high performing chair with great postural support and a more contemporary look. Lotus offers 5 different leg options providing continuity in colour, performance and design throughout the school.
RSA Academy Tipton
Origin first supplied POP Chairs to the RSA Academy (Tip Ton) for use in their classrooms over 10 years ago and were delighted recently to receive an order for a further 120 chairs for use in their newly built education block. The POP Chair is a great fit for schools and universities looking for a more contemporary look, elevating the aesthetic of learning environments provides students and teachers with a sense of pride and respect for the spaces in which they work.
