“In a continued effort to improve furniture in education, an insight revealed that universities were in transition, with student fees quadrupling making it even more challenging to attract students to their courses. One area that universities were focusing on improving were the interiors of learning spaces, transforming them into more inviting spaces for the students.
Origin designed FLUX with modern university students in mind, providing them with a chair that didn’t look or feel like a typical classroom chair. Over the past 60 years ‘poly’ style school chairs have focussed mostly on producing cheaper iterations of the last, sacrificing other important aspects of the chair. Contrary to this trend FLUX has been designed to progress the aesthetic and functional role of the classroom chair making it a perfect fit for modern learning and working spaces.”
